« We booked as a group of friends wanting a relaxing weekend. The house was perfect for us, 6 large bedrooms all en-suite, games room and well equipped kitchen. We were greeted with a beautiful freshly made cake and bottle of fizz. Only 5 minutes drive to Tesco. The hosts were extremely helpful We couldnât asked for more, perfect for families or groups of friends. I even got a cuddle with one of the hosts cats We walked to the local pub and can Also recommend a walk along Tiverton canal »

We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. « We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. Itâs well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter. »

« Great property for two plus dashound to be greeted with with provisions and dog treats was excellent it saves having to go out again after driving there. The only bad point is road noise when relaxing outside the rest was just as we would of wanted it 9 out of10 »

« Excellent check in and kitchen. Broader facilities require some small changes - more sun beds (including some upstairs) and bigger, better bbq for a house accommodating 12-16 people. Would also recommend aircon in the kitchen. Overall a lovely stay, just some improvements possible. »

« The property was very well equipped & in a lovely position on the site. It was very peaceful. The couple of queries we had were immediately resolved by the reception staff. If I was pushed to have a slight negative comment it would be that there were no instruction booklets for the kitchen appliances. »
