« It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. The cottage was very secluded, clean and well equipped with a very detailed guide available to both the facilities and places to go in the area. Comfy bed, great shower, cosy lounge. « The property was perfect and met all our needs. When we arrived we were greeted with a homemade lemon drizzle cake and freshly baked bread which was an absolute treat. Hathersage has lots of amenities including plenty of places to eat. There were lots of local walks including up to stanage edge. I would recommend getting a train to Edale if you plan to walk up Kinder Scout, saves fighting for a parking space. A lovely house in a beautiful location, can’t recommend it enough. »
