« I had an excellent stay at Queenstown house. From the outstanding customer service, cleanliness, generous breakfast selection and peaceful atmosphere. « Stunning views of lake and mountains out every window! Chef-prepared cook-to-order breakfast (delicious!) We enjoyed the sauna, wood-fire hot tub, and plush robes. Comfortable lounge with floor to ceiling windows; I curled up there to read a good book and have a cup of tea in the evenings. Lodge had not many rooms, so it was quiet and felt very private. Staff was wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend any higher. »

« Jan and Graeme were great hosts. Unfortunately, we missed the wine tasting on the first night, however were pleasantly surprised when we attended our second night. Great discussions and selection of wines. The room was very cosy and secure with everything we needed and the BBQ was great for what we needed. Indulged in a spa on site and again were impressed by the property. Would definitely go back. »

« We loved our two-night stay here! The rooms were quiet, spacious and clean and the common areas were lovely. The hot tub was a highlight on a chilly night! « Very nice & quiet 2 bedroom B&B. The host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating. Jeff had a fire in the wood stove in the morning and evening to take off the fall chill. Hot tub outside, where we sat with a glass of wine watching the sheep graze in the neighboring pasture. Lovely location a few kilometers south of Te Anau. »

« This place is a gem! Noel & Di welcomed us into their home, and it was so lovely after a series of slightly soulless hotels we stayed in during our travels around South Island. It’s a quirky place but all the better for it! We ate at a restaurant called Rocks in Invercargill and the steaks were excellent. Thanks to Noel for his recommendations on the Catlins. »
