« Arrived just on dark, in the rain. No access to cabin for vehicle, so had to walk up steps on an unlit path, in the rain and the dark to get there. No outside undercover area like a porch to put wet footwear, so had to track the water inside. The room was still dirty from the last occupant, dirty sheets and towels with no clean bedding anywhere to be found. Luckily I had some of my own bedding in my vehicle - which I then had to go back out in the driving rain and dark to retrieve. Would never...

« We had a wonderful stay at Moeraki Station. It was such a beautiful experience for us. Jane, the hostess, at all times was very quick with communicating with us and was very proactive and thoughtful throughout our stay. The house is warm and inviting. We came on a cold, windy evening and there was plenty of wood and matchsticks for our fireplace in the living room. Our kids loved watching the fire and it nicely heated the whole house.
