« Cosy, well-decorated, full of thoughtful touches like local gingerbread to have with your brews. Really wonderful place to escape to. As the property runs on solars/generator in winter we had an issue with a power outage one evening when the generator didn't kick in properly, but we had somebody on-site to fix it and back up within half an hour. »

« The lodge was lovely and clean with everything needed for a perfect stay. The hot tub was perfect and the bed was really comfy. Staff were lovely and helpful. Only one tiny issue was the internet being a bit slow but I know this is down to the location I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. « The pod was a great size (family of 3), clean, had everything you needed and more. The attention to detail with the added reception area with games/dvds and information was great. Our 4 year old loved the novelty of a dvd! Dominic was really helpful, felt super relaxed there and was situated perfectly for lots of family fun activities! Will deffo book again in the future. The shop across the way was lovely, we didn't use the tea room as it was closed during our stay but it looked lovely »
