« This house is dated for sure (in the best way imaginable). The detail was endless, everywhere you looked there was something new and exciting to discover. Then once you get past the decor, the views were spectacular with floor to ceiling windows on both levels in room after room. Watch the ships come in and out of the shipyard was fun, especially at night. Would stay again 100%. »

« Loved the stylings - catholic collection of cutlery, bedding, and stuff in the bach. Nice and old school (pun intended!). Had everything you could need. The fire was great, homely, warming. We loved getting away from it all in Awakino. Just enough to do and not to do. The view / location was ataahua. Beautiful place in the world. Thank you for sharing this place. »

« The whole place was amazing. Felt like arriving to a holiday resort. Plenty of room for everyone. Safety issues with children and pools were very well adressed. Felt safe. Pool area could have used an update to make it even more luxurious. There was a construction site next door but it did not bother us that much. The overall look had aged a bit from the pictures but we enjoyed our stay anyway. »

« First time staying in New Plymouth as a couple and were apprehensive about staying in a place that wasn’t a motel. Couldn’t have been more impressed. Excellent communication, friendliness and key handover. Comfortable bed, outdoor bath and even a hammock! Felt like our own private nest with everything we needed.
