« We only stayed the one night as we were passing through to visit family in Macclesfield. It was easy to get to and the surrounding scenery was stunning. Checkin was clear with reception and very informative. We had a queen size bed a kitchet with all amenities. There was a walk in shower and plenty of closets space. Very clean and tidy. The best thing was, we were given eggs and bacon in the fridge and cereal for our breakfast and a welcome bottle of Longview vineyards own wine. All was...

« Tracie and Ashley made us so welcome - finding out what we were interested on before we arrived, making suggestions for what we might like that would need to be booked. and making sure we had information about our interests at the cottage. The food they supplied was abundant and delicious. Just a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. Our dog also was super happy - he even made friends with an alpaca. New experiences for us all »

« We enjoyed our second stay in two years. A very comfortable house with all we needed and plenty of room for our dog. .Unfortunately the current algae situation kept us off the beach but the absence of humans, and dogs, seemed to encourage the return of many sea birds. There. is still plenty to do outdoors. We particularly enjoyed the Willunga market and exploring the surrounding countryside. »

« Check in couldn’t have been easier. The place was so cosy and the combustion heater was sensational. We loved the peacefulness and quiet. Seriously to have a jacuzzi while watching the sunset or watching the clouds is just so relaxing. A great place for couples who just want to enjoy each others company and get away from it all. »

« A fantastic stay! The place was new, clean and quiet, making it the perfect retreat. The provided breakfast was a lovely touch, and the cooking area was well-equipped for preparing meals. One small improvement would be adding a door for the toilet, but overall, a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend »

« The cutest little cottage that had personality and charm and made us feel like we were on holidays. We really loved being able to light the fire each night and snuggle up on the comfy couches. The backyard was also a gorgeous space with lots of seating options, our one year loved exploring (and eating fresh cherry tomatoes from the veggie patch!) « An amazing place. Everything at Gasworks was of the highest standard and quality. The property and gardens are stunning, with so much room to walk, relax , watch the chickens or the wildlife around the running creek. So relaxing. Provisions for breakfast were generous and appreciated. The history of a bygone era has been maintained. Hosts Heather and Grant are so welcoming and friendly and happy to leave u to yourself or have a chat if u wish. Will definitely be going back, excellent value for...
