« Beware!!After our 9 hour drive we were looking forward to arriving at this cozy cottage we booked. On arrival it turns out that this 'cozy 'cottage is stone cold and damp and that the second bed hasn't been made and there are no extra sheets or towels to be found to make it with either. Absolutely nothing is welcoming or cozy. I should have read the reviews better as the 'kitchen' is a bench with a microwave and electric kettle and the only water is in the bathroom faucet. No way to cook...

« The location of this property was excellent - a short stroll to shops and the Glenelg pier and beach. We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the ease of entry for our older children to come and go. All rooms were clean and tidy with plenty of space for the kids. We loved our stay! »

« I had to contact Donna about our booking in to the property. This property does not have a kitchen sink, it does have a small refrigerator, when we arrived the kettle was full of black ants, so we always left any water on the table or the top of the chest of drawers. we had a plastic dish to wash up in from water we got from the bathroom sink, only cooking was a microwave and toaster, the bbq on the verandah was not clean at all so we didn't use it. There is not a laundry or places to do...

« Had a wonderful stay at Mirrabooka, nice and cosy, stunning views, loved the breakfast provisions provided, loved listening to all the birds and the creek water running. The spa was so nice and relaxing. Could of layed there all day. We loved the fireplace aswell. Super warm and cosy. Close and convenient to lots of places. Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway. My partner and I loved it, it was the perfect birthday present for myself. »

Property Very quaint cottage ideally located next to river cafes and historic train lines. only minor observation, Could do with wardrobe, just a hanging rail at present. « We had a 5-night stay at the cottage, which is set up more as a studio apartment. The setting is beautiful and it has everything you'd expect from a cosy cottage — beautifully presented. I think this place is ideal for short summer stays where you'd eat out most of the time — but we stayed longer, in winter, and that's where things fell short.There is no heating except for a small electric heater in the bedroom — 15C is as warm as you can get it, so take warm clothes.I was disappointed with the...

« We had a wonderful stay at this charming beautifully decorated cottage with a fabulous view across the valley. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and warm with great heating, including underfloor heating in the bathroom. We loved watching the sheep and picking pomegranate which accommodating and friendly hosts John and Julie kindly shared. We would love to stay again when we visit Adelaide hills. « The cottage was very well appointed and maintained. Our stay was very comfortable and we loved the fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped if we had needed to use for cooking. Only 5 minutes from the centre of Hahndorf but felt like we were miles away from anyone. »
