« Beware!!After our 9 hour drive we were looking forward to arriving at this cozy cottage we booked. On arrival it turns out that this 'cozy 'cottage is stone cold and damp and that the second bed hasn't been made and there are no extra sheets or towels to be found to make it with either. Absolutely nothing is welcoming or cozy. I should have read the reviews better as the 'kitchen' is a bench with a microwave and electric kettle and the only water is in the bathroom faucet. « I wish I could’ve stayed an extra night! The CABN was so cute! I followed a previous travelers advice and brought my own bath mat as the water from the shower goes everywhere and no one likes cold feet! Unfortunately there was no salt available as stated, so it’s lucky we had brought our own otherwise it would be annoying to drive back to town. « I had to contact Donna about our booking in to the property. This property does not have a kitchen sink, it does have a small refrigerator, when we arrived the kettle was full of black ants, so we always left any water on the table or the top of the chest of drawers. we had a plastic dish to wash up in from water we got from the bathroom sink, only cooking was a microwave and toaster, the bbq on the verandah was not clean at all so we didn't use it. « Maccy's cottage is a quaint little cottage, beautifully hand crafted and built, in the gorgeous Adelaide Hills. It is a completely unique property with open fire-place and kangaroos visiting us at the back door. Full of rustic charm, but with all the modern conveniences, and luxurious furnishings to make it comfortable and cosy. The owner was wonderful, and made sure we had a lovely stay. We were even provided Gluten Free bread to accommodate my husband. We can highly recommend Maccy's Cottage. »

« Had a wonderful stay at Mirrabooka, nice and cosy, stunning views, loved the breakfast provisions provided, loved listening to all the birds and the creek water running. The spa was so nice and relaxing. Could of layed there all day. We loved the fireplace aswell. Super warm and cosy. Close and convenient to lots of places. Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway. My partner and I loved it, it was the perfect birthday present for myself. »

« Not being a dog owner all floors and furniture need a good vacuum and every room need a good dusting snd removal of cobwebs. Bar stools were soiled and need a good clean. Dining table and counter tops we had had to clean. In addition we had a 8 month old baby with us and were relunctant to let her crawl. The front verandah and windows could have had a good clean. So not sure why we are charged cleaning fees?? »
