« A lovely well run B&B located in a small village in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. The host was friendly and ensured that our stay was comfortable. We found it was the perfect base for visiting Constable Country, especially its close proximity to Lavenham. »

« L'hôtel est juste en face de la gare, ce qui est pratique. Le personnel est très gentil, et le pub/resto de l'hôtel est refait à neuf et relativement bien. Cependant, l'hôtel en lui-même est bien décevant. Nous avions une chambre pour deux avec salle de bain privative, une pour deux sans, et une chambre individuelle. Dans la salle de bain privative, la chasse des toilettes ne marchait pas toujours. La chambre individuelle côté rivière est une vrai cocotte minute. Le tuyau d'eau chaude...

« Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. »

« We wish we had known about this place earlier, it is great. Lovely characterful ensuite bedrooms , charming, helpful hosts and superb breakfasts . Location is great for walking into the city and the nearby Black Horse pub is handy for meals. Easy parking too. Why did we go to generic chains when we could have stayed somewhere this special? »

« A beautiful period property in a stunning location. Always a warm welcome from the owner and you couldn’t find a more beautiful setting to wake up.Deer often walking around the grounds in the early morning when you open the curtains of your perfectly decorated room. »
