The best place you can find if you're looking for peace and quiet. There are good pubs within a few miles and the sea is not far away either. What more could you want? « We had a lovely 2 week holiday at Oyster cottage in Shaldon, everything that was promised in the description was there. A central position in the village, a 2 minute walk to the beach, cafés, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. The botanical gardens are well worth a visit as the views are wonderful. The craft fair on the green was a lovely surprise. The little ferry between shaldon and teignmouth was a way to visit the nearby town but walking is also a possible option. A day trip...

« Arrivée par un petit chemin bordé de haies, descendant vers un vallon où l'on découvre au fur et à mesure tous les animaux qu'une ferme peut accueillir : truies, bovins, chevaux, agneaux et basses cours. L'environnement est très pentu et ne laisse pas beaucoup d'espace pour se déplacer sans effort. Le fermier est très accueillant et prompte à rendre service. Le descriptif correspond au cottage. »

« Used for a meeting point between ourselves and friends. The accommodation was clean and very quaint and ideal for our use. The welcome letter was very touching and the compliments left i.e. milk, butter bread etc was a pleasant surprise.With the fish and chip shop and pubs along the road meant that we did not have to cook during our stay. Short walk to the beach and the seashore was very pleasant we would use the accommodation again without hesitation. »
