« The villa had all the amenities we could require. It provided a very comfortable and homely base to stay. However little things like a broom was broken and the coffee machine didn't work should not happen. »

« Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

« The property was lovely. The view to Lake Como was spectacular. The hosts live next door and were very attentive without being disruptive. The only negative I can mention is that we used the kitchen to cook a meal and there were no essentials like salt/pepper/olive oil - most other VRBOs we have stayed at have those available. But we did have 4 delicious fresh eggs when we arrived and the hosts provided a mini happy hour with appetizers and wine on our first night. Overall a definite 5...

« Nous recherchions le calme : nous l’avons trouvé ! Endroit parfait pour se reposer, randonner, visiter. Le seul reproche pourrait être le manque d’équipement (3 fourchettes, pas de bol ni de mug pour le pdj. »

« La maison est conforme à la description et plaira aux amateurs de tranquillité. L’environnement, très beau, permet d’oublier la surpopulation des petits villages du bord du lac, mais également de respirer de l’air frais pendant les périodes de canicule. »

« Pros: Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe im Detail und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, war für uns als Familie mit zwei Kindern und einem Hund ideal, mit einem riesigen Garten in dem sich unser Hund austoben konnte. Auch zum Wandern ideal, nur eine gute Stunde von zwei sehr schönen Aussichtspunkten über den Comer See. Vor allem auch einen großen Dank an Paola, eine sehr liebenswerte und tolle Gastgeberin, die sich regelmäßig nach unserem Wohl erkundigt hat. Es hat wirklich alles gepasst. »

« Very dangerous road to the VRBO with large buses , blind turns, and no sidewalk. You have to climb 4 flights of stone stairs to get to the VRBO with minimal lighting and heavy suitcases . VERY DANGEROUS »
