« Excellent location. We enjoyed the Mute Swan, Bushy Park parkrun, canoeing on the Thames, visiting Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens. We enjoyed eating outside at the property. We enjoyed the layout of the house and furnishings. We didn’t have enough large towels for each of us (12 people). « This is the second time we have stayed here as a base for attending the Festival of speed. The standard of accommodation is good, it is exceptionally well equipped and very clean. The stand out is the location next the quay and on a nature reserve. we love walking around the nature reserve and viewing the wild life from the balcony. The Festival is about a 35 minute drive and during the week we also visited Arundel Castle and the Isle of Wight. We will be coming back next year. »

« We needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay as were coming to Lewes for my dad’s funeral. The house was perfect - beautifully arranged and attentively styled, and hugely homely - like a comforting hug. We wanted boiled eggs for breakfast and there were no egg cups so we bought three in town and left as a gift. A small microwave would be a useful addition to the kitchen. »
