« We all thought 1st impression it was a very cute house. Very tidy and had everything provided for you. The host was very nice and just a phone call away. One thing that was mentioned was the number of the house wasnt visible for a taxi to know which house it was to pick us up at. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would tell friends of this cottage if they need to stay in Waihi. »

« Great place , classic kiwi batch with a nice kitchen and dishwasher! which was a nice surprise. Well laid out , good shower , comfy lounge ,comfy beds, beautiful views of hillside and estuary. Good parking, nice neighbors. Advice you take your own big umbrellas for shade on deck. Can park a 6mtr boat on grass then 2 to 3 vehicle's. Only con would be no details on rubbish collection. We found the pamphlet on the last day. Tairua is awesome, not has busy as Whiti or Pauanui but still has...

« A bit disappointing. Not worth 569 for 2 nights. The bed was comfy & warm. the lights, hot water & gas cooker were great. Both phone & data do work there.The concept was orsom. Some improvements we think would help are ...... The access gate & driveway faces the wrong way. The bath/ shower mixer is broken. The doors have up to a 2" gap at the top. The fire's flue kept blowing off. The BBQ was filthy with no BBQ tools. Some old news papers to light the fire would help. More photos showing that...
