« A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay. »

« Beautiful old pub right in the centre of Greenwich. Really comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need for a short stay. Perfect. »

« This place is a gem! There is a bus that is a block away and takes 20 minutes to Stansted Airport. The room we had was wonderful: beautiful bed linens, Turkish bath robe, lovely decor, and a beautiful, healthy, breakfast in the fridge that included a very fresh and attractive fruit platter. The little touches like the coffee machine, toaster, and excellent bread, butter, jams, fresh milk, pretty china cups and plates, made us feel we were in a real home. Martha Stewart could not have done...

« Large and quiet room with a view. »

« Overall it was good but it isn't a hotel its like an Airbnb with no front staff ! Its clean and well maintain but seems bit old! There's no AC or Fan so during summer it can be little hot! The cleanliness is good but due to it being old things seems bit dirty! »

« They asked me to call 20 minutes in advance before we arrived. As we arrived at the destination, they moved us last minute to a new destination even though we gave them 20minutes to tell us. There was also no WIFI or hot water. »

« Just a short one night stay for our night before our flight out of Stansted. Great little find, just 30 mins from the airport but a lovely peaceful location. The host had left provisions for breakfast which was totally unexpected but made a real difference to our stay. Would recommend for for a short stay away from it all. »

« A warm welcome on arrival, lovely room with all facilities and a delicious cooked breakfast before we left. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to others »
