« This was such a wonderful and unique way to spend a few nights in London - both the narrowboat itself and the location. Staying on the water is a world apart from any hotel experience, The rustic charms and quirks of narrowboat living and the sense of community with other boat dwellers made it special. « L'emplacement est top et la communication avec l'hôte est facile. Cependant il n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce que la péniche est amarrée avec une autre péniche, les fenêtres donnent sur l'intérieur de l'autre péniche. Il n'y a de l'eau chaude que pour deux petites douches. Le supplément payé pour une 5ème personne est très élevé compte tenu du fait qu'il ne pourra pas se doucher. L'électricité ne fonctionne pas bien et toutes les nuits nous avons été réveillés par les BIP du générateur que...

« Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about! »

« perfect location, lots going on but at the same time quite quiet, i guess in high season this would be different. Kaia and Bruce perfect hosted. Just a couple of suggestions, a hook on bathroom door and shelves above toilet to put towels and clothes etc on. Maybe a small drop down table in the bedroom. »
