« Having stayed in a whole load of hotels on a regular basis, we genuinely cannot compare the service to anywhere else we've stayed collectively. The food was stunning. The garden was gorgeous. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We just wished it was bigger so we could move in! « Super clean and cosy room. It was ready upon arrival and staff was very helpful in explaining the property and pub / restaurant area. Room does not have AC but had a fan and brought another upon request, as well as blackout curtains. (For those traveling from US, not many pubs and older dwellings have AC like we do in the states). We arrived when it was above 30c) We had great food during our stay and were able to enjoy long hikes in the park and super convenient spot to our friends I the area. »

« Room was TINY. Smelt of toilets and woken by multiple church bells at 5 am. No staff at breakfast time. Cereal and toast. Wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the money. »

« Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. »
