« We really enjoyed our stay, The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, well equipped, cosy and in a great private location overlooking the forest. The hut was so lovely and warm with central heating and a log burner, the bed was comfortable, and the fixtures and fittings looked brand new. Also the rainfall shower was a lovely surprise. Would recommend and will be back for another visit. Thank you »

« Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. « Accommodation was ok, the weekend was a bit of a let down due to the weather. The property was comfortable and we made use of the Hot tub. A bit of maintenance is required on the sinks in the bathroom and toilet they are loose. We went to the Star public house that was recomended and we were not disappointed. The owners are lucky having this property in such a nice area. Overall we had a good time »
