« What a fantastic stay. We chose this property as we needed to vacate our home whilst work was being done, but it ended up so much more than just a place to lay our heads. The location, near the main road was ideal, but actually very quiet, as it was set down a hill. Pauline, the owner, couldn't have been more accomodating, finding extra parking for us and sorting out things very quickly. The location was brilliant, especially for our 2 dogs who loved the peaceful walks in the near vacinity »

« Very well appointed and located - pretty wrap around garden with sun at different times of day- close to jetty where grandsons loved crabbing and yummy unpretentious seafood restaurants.Only reservation for some could be 2 flights of steep stairs to 2 of 3 bedrooms with only bathroom and loo downstairs— but cottage dates from 1575 so don’t expect en-suites! - what you do get is character and comfort. »

« The rooms and bedding’s were not clean and I asked for my money back, it was point blank refused, they also left a used bottle of water for me, also, there were unused in the fridge that were smelling. »

« Myself and my partner stayed in this beautiful cottage for 5 nights. It's safe to say the property has everything you need for a perfect, tranquil stay by the sea. Overlooking Old Leigh you couldn't fault the location, close to the station and some pubs! Property was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Some beautiful touches made to this property we loved the work from home area on the third floor. Could talk all day about how amazing it was but to sum it all up all I will say is... we will...

« Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us. »

« There were 16 of us for a family weekend. The house is fabulous, very comfortable with lots of different spaces. The gardens are lovely and the tennis court was a real hit worth all the family. Communicating with the hosts was was simple. Would recommend. »
