« Het is een ruime vakantiewoning doch, sterk verouderd. De woning was niet helemaal goed schoon. Het was waarschijnlijk al een tijdje niet bewoond geweest. Bij binnenkomst was het warm en muf. De vriezer was waarschijnlijk open blijven staan daar deze helemaal vol met ijs zat (hebben we zelf opgelost, vriezer is weer schoon en werkt uitstekend). In de keuken en in de badkamer stonk het. « Pretty cottage, in a beautiful sunny garden. We loved eating on the terrace under the wisteria. It's an old cottage with low doors, so don't forget to duck if you're tall! The stairs are very narrow, not suitable for someone with mobility issues. Only one street back from the beach and a short walk to the shops and pubs. West Mersea is very picturesque! »
