« We came to Suffolk to do some family tree research and Orford was a great place to stay. Although there wasn't dedicated parking, there was always plenty of space in the market square. The village itself is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to walk and explore. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. »

« Het is een ruime vakantiewoning doch, sterk verouderd. De woning was niet helemaal goed schoon. Het was waarschijnlijk al een tijdje niet bewoond geweest. Bij binnenkomst was het warm en muf. De vriezer was waarschijnlijk open blijven staan daar deze helemaal vol met ijs zat (hebben we zelf opgelost, vriezer is weer schoon en werkt uitstekend). In de keuken en in de badkamer stonk het. « Lovely peaceful setting in rural Suffolk, with walks on mown path around edge of property. Handy enough to reach Sutton Hoo and Minsmere by car. The only negative was that the shower temperature controls were difficult to master - some instructions would be useful. »
