Long Story Short is a newly opened cafe and hostel in the Moravian city of Olomouc. The hostel is situated in Locatelli's bastion, which was part of the old city walls. Incredible setting for a hostel. Unfortunately I only had one night here, so didn’t get to try their breakfast or cafe, however the hostel is very impressive. Spacious dorms, comfortable beds, excellent showers. I will definitely return. #hostel #architecture #olomouc #fortification http://www.longstoryshort.cz/

The Astronomical Clock in Olomouc attracts considerably fewer tourists than its Prague counterpart. It's definitely not as asthetic, having been destroyed by the Nazis in 1945 and rebuilt during the communist era, hence the socialist style.
