« Amazing stay at The Stables. Luxury is the best way to describe it. Everything was spotless, the rooms are large and all extremely comfortable. Hot tub was lovely after a hot day of exploring. Property is situated in the middle of an amazing area and nothing is really too far to reach. Hosts were lovely and very attentive. Brought a fan over when the temperature became rather warm in the evenings. Hopefully we will be back in the future. »

« We stayed here for a few days as a “home base” for day trips to Dartmoor, Exeter and the Devon coast. Rob greeted us on arrival and was a charming host. The cottage was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable – we cooked in most nights and the kitchen was up to the task. We especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace. Parking is a breeze (immediately outside the cottage) and Honiton is only an 8-minute drive for supplies and antique shopping! Highly recommended. »

« Unfortunately property was not as advertised The condition it is in is awful We are told it is being addressed but it should of been sorted months ago We were also told a professional cleaning company had been in before we arrived, this definitely wasn’t the case. As our stay was over the new year we paid a lot for this run down, tired, dusty property »

« We would have given a 5 star rating were it not for the broken toilet seat and floor tile in the bathroom. The owner got back to us very quickly to apologise. She was aware of the tile but not the seat. The handyman came the following morning, and the day after that to replace a light bulb in the kitchen. Had the big cushions (pictured) been on the sofa and cotton bedding available we might have found it more comfortable, and would in our view warrant the luxary label. »
