« Stayed at the Painters Lodge last night so this is fresh. Cabin 20, huge lemon pledge smell when we walked in. 1/2 hour later when pledge eased off it smelled like death. Door lock didn’t work. Black Ants in a few rooms. One bedrooms comforter had a gorgeous blood stain. Such a shame. This place used to be fantastic. Hope new ownership gets better but I doubt it. Told the front desk this morning and in a rehearsed “oh sorry about that” he gave no f$&ks. Couldn’t recommend never staying here...

« The property is well located in the centre of the village. Only complained we had was due to the outside noise (Power saw and back-up alarm from forklift) created by the construction in the harbor. A room on the other side of the hotel might have cushioned that noise somewhat. The staff lady which we connected with in the Grocery/Liquor Store was extremely helpful and sourced a microwave and cutlery for us , since the restaurants where still closed for the season. Would definitely stay there...
