NOT AN HONEST ESTABLISHMENT!
Lack of customer service, empathy and resolve when I realized I left my senior diabetic blind dog (he has no eyeballs) toddler bed rail at the end of the bed & called 3 hours after checking out to inform them I had left it & it's an important necessity for my blind dog to use his ramp stairs to get on & off the bed in hotels & at home so he doesn't fall off the bed when locating his ramp stairs to get down. Front desk & Manager didn't offer any resolution & acted as if they didn't care and housekeeping didn't bring anything down or put in lost & found. I had just left 3 hours prior. You tell me housekeeping didn't steal it for a toddlers bed or to resell. Instead the manger was persistent, moreless gaslighting me and stood behind his employees/housekeeping and left me hanging with, we'll call if it turns up. Not to mention on the 2nd day of my stay, two women came to report for their first day of work in housekeeping and was speaking with the front desk inquiring "what to do, it's their first day". So dear Manager, you don't know ALL your employees THAT WELL. I don't like to assume, but who is the first individual to go into the room after checkout? I called back again 5 days later and received the same treatment but from a woman. Needless to say, I haven't heard anything or received a call back indicating the safety rail "turned up". I do not recommend this establishment, The Hampton Inn Detroitca/Utica-Shelby Twp. They don't have honest staff!!
