PRIVATE PARKING
Maybe the gem of this Listing is the on-property parking. Listing comes with one private parking spot on property beneath a large shade tree.

The street has metered parking until 4pm then after 4pm it is parking by resident permit only and it is a ticket and tow zone.

Your private parking allows you to avoid the hassle while also avoiding the $40-$100 event parking rates of nearby lots.

Our goal is to make you private apartment a home away from home. During your stay if you need anything please reach out. We are usually located in the separate residential area of the mansion.

SAFETY & SECURITY
Detroit's reputation aside, Downtown, and in particular this neighborhood is very safe and walkable. As a Retired Federal Agent in this City, your safety is paramount. In addition to the strong and friendly presence in the neighborhood of the Detroit Police Department, we also have 24 hour security that patrols the streets making your walks to and from the stadiums and throughout Downtown and Midtown one of the safest in the country.

CHECK-IN/UNLOADING
In respect for our neighbors, please do not Load/unload your car from the condo parking pad directly outside of the side entrance. This is private property of the condos and can block neighbors access to their garages. Kindly unload from the provided private parking space on the other side of the house. If you need help with luggage the host can assist with porter service from your car to the apartment. Do not hesitate to ask.

PROFESSIONAL CLEANING
Our clean service provides an Above-Standard through cleaning process after each check out, to ensure you have the healthiest, safest space during your stay.

PETS WELCOME
Unlike many nearby listings, we are very pet friendly. Bring your furry friend and don't even think twice about apologizing for barking. It's what they do when they miss you. We do ask that you clean up after them as best as possible. After walks, you are welcome to dispose of waste bags through the front gate and in the dumpster cans at the side of the front porch.

While there is a private walk-up door to the backyard, please do not, step out, or let your pets out as we have dogs that are convinced they own that space. Feel free to wave to them through the door, but for your safety as well as safety of our pets, please do not have contact with them.

NO SMOKING INSIDE
Please refrain from smoking inside the home. You are welcome to smoke on the concrete pad directly outside the side entrance. Any evidence of smoking will result in a fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning.

NO PARTIES/EVENTS
Per VRBO policy we kindly ask you to be respectful to the space and the historic home and as we aim to make this your home away from home, please treat it as such.
