« The property was clean and bright during the daytime. My only issue was that we arrived late at night and no outside lights were on. It took a few minutes to figure out thr correct door and get some lights on. We would stay here again. 8/8 »

« Enjoyed a family stay at Boyd Pond cottage. Sauna was great and enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle board. Fire pit out front with wood provided - roasting marshmallows was fun. King size bed and others beds were very comfortable. Drinking water was provided. Some weeds in the pond but much less when swimming further out. Hot tub was not working. The owner was very responsive and accommodating particularly during our last day of heavy rain and short power outage. Overall a very pleasant stay...

« The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from SLU, as we live several hours away in Massachusetts. Overall, it was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately, it rained and was very cold while we were there, so I can’t comment on any of the water activities. The view from the deck is lovely! We saw a small beaver and a great blue heron. »

« We really loved the setting of the cabin. Boyd Pond is beautiful! We loved seeing critters outside, like geese and loons on the water. We made breakfasts in the kitchen and spent a lot of time looking out over the water both from the table and sitting on the deck. It was nice to watch TV at night and have a space of our own. »

« The only real things I didn't like about the property was the floors upon check-in were dirty, not dusty. After my 1st shower while my feet were drying they turned black from walking around. Also some dirty dishes and mice poo in the cupboard. Beyond that this place was amazingly quiet and peaceful. Comfy as well. On the clear nights you had full view of the stars. Lots of trails in the area »

« I'm a travel CT tech and stayed at this VRBO after long overnight shifts for a week. The location was perfect for anyone working in the hospital and my dog loved the back yard (just be careful of ticks, as I saw deer in back there almost everyday). I loved the place and had ample cooking utensils so I could cook right at the home. Will be returning! Also the washer and dryer was a nice perk »

« We loved this property. While there is a serious set of stairs to descend and come back up when going down to the water, we got used to it and considered it a good workout. The place was even better than the pics on VRBO. The kitchen was well equipped with tons of glassware, dishes, silverware and pots and pans. The stereo and vinyl record collection was a big hit with our music enthusiasts and you can’t beat the view from the large screened porch!
