« This richly historic place was great to stay in. Request a room in the main part of the hotel with a water view! But the old girl needs some outside cosmetic help. New paint is needed! Breakfast was tasty and the dinner just great! »

« Cozy house by Chautauqua Lake in a little private neighborhood. The house is a little dated (70s vintage), but clean and nice. The host is super cool, always responsive and helpful. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, appliances, dishes, Brita filtered water, and a few extras like coffee, sugar, oil, and spices. Cooking there was great. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom has been renovated. The area is quiet and relaxing, and close to the Chautauqua Institute (the reason for my visit;)...

The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and anything we needed. We felt very safe here. The location worked well for us and we were able to get to various locations easily. « Room was clean. Location was also good. Would not recommend for senior citizens. Bedroom is accessed by what is basically a latter. The bathroom vanity could only be used while sitting on the toilet. »

There were extra blankets and a lot of items that are not provided in most rentals like toilet paper, paper towels, sugar packets, other seasonings, etc. There was also a water dispenser which was great! I could mot find the hair dryer and the ice maker smelled like mildew so I didn’t use it. All around great stay. »
