The place is really charming with old furniture and decoration but also quite clean bathroom and toilets (of course you are in Japan). It's a little far from the pier so not too easy if you have heavy luggage
The room we had would have been perfect for 2, it was just ok for 3 but I would not recommend 4 unless if you don't mean to stay inside at all
The hosts were perfect, nice and helping.

Un séjour très agréable. Dormir une nuit à Miyajima est un véritable bonheur. Se promener dans les ruelles le soir, prendre en photo le Torii de nuit est un privilège. Ce ryokan est très bien placé et calme. Le personnel est chaleureux. Le wifi mériterait d être amélioré. Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

One of the best hotel we did in Japan, if it’s not the best. The design is really peaceful, lot of light wood and the fact we removed our shoes at the entrance of the hotel feels you are at home. Onsens are really nice and the breakfast was yummy. I really recommend it!
