« Annie's Lodge was our base for an education visit to the Chiradzulu district 2-16 March 2016. It was a perfect location - close to airport and central Blantyre and 5 minute walk from HHI. « PLEASE go elsewhere if you have the choice. Poor room service, the restaurant does not have a good decent menu. However, the people working at the hotel are kind and try their best with the limited tools and training they have been empowered with.There is no shuttle service attached to the hotel. « Although the staff is smiling and welcoming, I would not recommend that hotel for the following reasons. There was not water one day and I went to work without shaving and taking a shower. I selected that hotel because there is a gym and I found a gym not maintained, some equipment was broken or not working and most benches are unstable, which is very dangerous while handling weights. « The staff is kind, it’s close to shoppin Mall and sososo bus terminal. The bed is big, room is clean. I wanted to go early morning to Mzuzu, but I didn’t catch taxi, but the staff bring my bag to bus terminal by walk as same price. Our room (beach cottage) had a nice view but there was no hot water for our entire stay and we had to deal with plenty of spiders and ants in the room (which can be expected in this part of the world).
