« This beautiful hotel is very grand and is still very classy. It is showing its age however, but we still had a wonderful experience, with my husband celebrating his birthday at dinner where the staff made his night very special. The staff are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. »

« Arrived on Friday afternoon and received excellent reception from the front desk.there was no toilet spray or any odour controlling mechanism in the bathroom room.left the room at 5am and came back at 12:30 pm.the room was cleaned but without towels,they were only replaced around 13:00.had an issue the aircon that sounded like a petrol fuelled generator which was attended to immediately. »

« Very friendly owners who met us personally late on a Sunday afternoon. Great place with amazing food, if we are every back in Tzaneen again, this is the place to stay. »

« There was a bath without a screen instead of a shower. A large dead cockroach in the bathroom. Lights outside the bedroom window that were not switched off. Naked, exposed wiring where the switch for the bedside lamp should be ( I could have electrocuted myself reaching for the switch at night!). Very noisy water pipes from 3am. The bed was clean and comfortable but the roach had spoiled it all. »

« With out doubt one of the best holidays ever. Fantastic place, people and service. Could not fault anything. If you want a South African Experience then Mafigeni is the place. So many things to do and see in the immediate area including Kruger National Park. Self drive or guided if it's you first time you will not be dissapointed. Thank you everyone at Mafigeni for a memorable stay. »
