« A reasonably kitted out house with a garden that takes dogs and is a short pretty flat walk to the sea - that’s all great! But being quite low it has a bit of a damp ish smell, there was a snail trail in the kitchen and there was an issue with something on the carpet in one of the rooms. Having said that, the convenient location made up for the minor gripes and we’d go again. Children would need watching going up to the garden though (which had good outside furniture). »

« The property is large, characterful and has everything you need for a relaxed break. Plenty of space. The garden is gorgeous, so we were pleased to be able to make use of it in the sunshine. « Myself and 2 children had a lovely stay at The Cumberland. It has a great location across from the beach and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were very welcoming. The breakfast has a great choice, it is plentiful, cooked fresh and tasty. We parked in the train station car park as it was cheaper for an overnight stay and not as busy as the 'tourist' car parks. It was approx. 5 minute walk via a pedestrian footpath. »
