According to the information supplied by hotels.com, we had booked a room "donnant sur le jardin". However, on arrival we were informed that the hotel itself was full. We found ourselves in a little bungalow, set apart from the main hotel, and donnant sur…..un mur. We complained to the management, and were moved to another bungalow, even further from the main hotel. It...

« Disappointing Experience – 2/5 Stars I stayed at Sterling Elk Hill from 21st October to 24th October, and unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. I would rate my stay 2 out of 5 stars. Room service was extremely slow. I had to call multiple times for assistance and faced this issue on more than five occasions. Such delays are unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The checkout experience was equally frustrating. I waited for around 40 minutes for someone to collect our...

« Perfect retreat in the Nilgiris. Beautiful and comfortable rooms and excellent food at the restaurant! Be sure to include the buffet breakfast in your package »

« Despite my flight was cancelled, the hôtel didnt propose any commercial gesture. »

« Stay was not comfortable. »

« The room was clean. But no essential items like soaps, tooth paste, towel provided. Food was not available. »

« We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a pleasant stay at Stumpfields. It is 500 meters above Ooty town and within half an hour driving distance. This picturesque place is quiet, serene and well-maintained. Plenty of small and medium sized birds can be seen in and around the property. Breakfast prepared by the staff was very good and homely and the rooms are well maintained. The access to the property is steep, narrow and the terrain is little rugged, so be prepared and experience is needed to get to the...

« I had booked this room for my father . When they reqched the hotel, the caretaker told him that no payment or booking had been received. After my dad showed the reciept and payment, the manager turned up about half an hour later . They told my father that a room wasn't available and asked my father for a 1000 Rs deposit for another room. My dad refused to pay any further sum, and informed them that if they did not arrange another room or refund the paid amount he would apporach the police . They...

« The hotel was right at market and right beside the botanical garden. Absolutely loved the stay! »

« We had an incredible stay at this property! The mountain views right from our room were breathtaking, and the entire staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. A special mention to Dipen and his wife, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, the home-cooked food was absolutely delicious. We loved the experience so much that we decided to extend our stay! »
