« Room was large and comfortable. Only drawback was the number of flights of stairs necessary to get to it. Hotel was very convenient to get to the Mall and it was on a road that transport could drive up to the front door which is often not the case with other hotels in Darjeeling. »

« Service, location, friendly accommodating staff made us feel like home. Kanchanjungha views from hotel view point.. outside some rooms, dining hall, outside reception.. everywhere. Gave some suggestions and feed back to the general manager who was very appreciative of the constructive feed back. Passion of the staff to serve customers is unparalleled and trickles down from the leadership of Debarya, who seems to talk about the resort like it's his baby. « We had an amazing stay at ging tea house It is a rare gem hidden in the mountains with breathtaking views. The property manager Mr. Andrew made sure our stay was memorable. He helped us with the directions. He and his team work day and night to make sure we have tasty food for breakfast lunch and dinner and making nice dargeeling tea for us. The property is located in the mountains with lots of greenery and small hikes to explore the tea plantations. Will definitely visit here again. »

« The rooms are cold and damp. The stairs are rickety and an absolute health-hazard. There is no WiFi, despite the claim on Orbitz. The manager confessed he hasn't had WiFi in the hotel for months. The TV was not working. The water supply is a trickle and ice-cold....after many complaints the trickle turned warm, so you could fill 1 bucket per hour. The building is crumbling and in dire need of repairs.Cockroaches were roaming freely and the mattress was lumpy, smelly, damp and impossible to sleep...

« Hôtel bien placé, à une rue de la rue commerçante; personnel vraiment très attentionné et sympathique; On a pu avoir deux chambres communicantes (pour 4 personnes) mais aucun chauffage dans les chambres, on a dormi tout habillé ! Aucun wifi dans les chambres, il faut descendre dans le lobby, où il fait très froid car la porte d'entrée reste ouverte. Petit déjeuner indien. »

« This hotel does not have bad amenities but a terribly reluctant management. Basically, the answer was 'no, sorry we cannot' to every request. We even had to insist and fight to have laundered sheets put on our beds as the bed we were given had unwashed, stained sheets. It did have a nice rooftop deck with a wonderful mountain view.
