« We loved our overnight stay at The Chanticleer. We had book the reservation for the wrong day and the owner(?) was very accommodating in helping us resolve 5he issue. The Inn itself was such a quaint peaceful throwback - reminding us of childhood trips long ago. « They gave us trouble with the room we reserved originally because they were having windows replaced and because we booked thru Expedia they stated they didn’t have a phone number to call us to let us know the room needed changed. They also didn’t tell us about the room change until I had to come back up and inform them we received the incorrect room. It took 3 room changes to get the correct room we reserved. « Didn’t realize I was staying in the basement of a home where the Host family was so inconsiderate to the amount of noise that they were creating by stomping around for 3 plus hour on my first. Asked that they be more considerate and they stopped stomping around for about 20 minutes and the it continue until 11:30pm. The smells of the basement area were a little over whelming when I checked in and I was able to open a window. Sorry I’d couldn’t take the lack of consideration from the host...
