« We had a great weekend away at Taylorsville lake. Our house had everything it needed to cook and sit around and play games in the evening. We were bummed that we didn’t have access to the pool and the pool area was not in good condition. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. »

« We stayed at Bourbon Trail Lodge from August 7–10 while four of us traveled from three different states to be together near our ailing 94-year-old mother, who lives in a nursing home in Mount Washington.From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcomed. There were bananas and cookies waiting for us, coffee and creamer, a half gallon of milk, and even sodas in the refrigerator. « This is such a beautiful home on beautiful property! It was bittersweet that our weekend was full of running around that we didnt have much time to enjoy the property. Spacious, super clean, feels so homey, grounds are immaculate, the only downfall was the weakening water pressure when more than one shower was running. We loved this place so much and hope to book a trip back! »

« The Lodge was a perfect home for our group of 5 travelers while we visited the Bardstown, Louisville, Lexington area. The house is beautiful with a big porch and rocking chairs. There were many great amenities like a game room, big fire pit and hot tub we didn't have time to enjoy. The kichen is very well equipped. Everything in working condition. Host communicated quickly. We'd love to stay there again. There is a short gravel driveway. It is in a rural area but not far to drive to Bardstown. »
