« Large unit. Note if you have any mobility issues, there are a couple of steps up to the room. Also, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so you’ll have to open the window. Otherwise beds were comfortable, air-conditioning worked fine and they have a hairdryer. Overall, you can’t beat it for the price. »

« Driving directions were accurate, owners description of property is accurate. This is a private location and on a deadend road. You have neighbors but all keep to themselves and trees provide seclusion. Only drawback we found was that it rained most of our stay and the non insulation of the walls made it a little loud to sleep. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again. »

« My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. There’s a kitchen and plenty of room in the sleeping building. Things were really clean and nice with a coffee welcome tray. Took a walk up to a little lake, and then hiked into the woods -...

« We had so much fun exploring the castle and learning the history of the property. There are so many unique trinkets throughout the castle, every time we walked in a room we found something new to look at. The stay was an experience in itself!The castle is very clean and our room stayed nice and cool. We went to Charleston state park to check out rose island.David and Nikki were great hosts!We looked forward to returning again soon to explore some more! »

« The atmosphere is awesome if you like the medieval effect. It can be intimidating if you're more into elegant luxury or shy. The rooms were clean had electricity and the hosts were great. The bed was very large and comfortable. There are many areas to explore on the large property. Some areas are under renovation. »
