« They sent us entry codes in the morning with instructions. We arrived late and we're able to get in with no problem. The bed was perfect and I slept great. My husband said the train (and my snoring 😅) woke him up a few times. Discovering the view in the morning was awesome; we could see the Mississippi and a riverboat docked, as well as watch the train. The only negative was the stairs were a tad steep but not bad; we'd done a lot of walking and driving during the day, so they were hard to...

« This was our second time staying here. We used hotels.com to book this time and did not know we had to request breakfast. But there’s a great coffee shop just a couple blocks away, so it was not an inconvenience. We love staying at this B&B. Chris, Scooby, and the cats are great! Will definitely stay next time we’re in Hannibal. Thanks again Chris »

« Jack and Becky are warm and welcoming. The barn is close to many attractions near the lake. Guests live downstairs and the owners upstairs. The breakfast and cat are great. The room and the whole barn are all wood, very stylish and interesting for city people like me. There is also an interesting heart-shape bathtub without the above-head showing faucet. »

« We had a lovely and peaceful stay the the Garth Mansion. I was especially pleased that it didn't feel "creepy" like many old mansions do, even with the many historical artifacts on display around the home. I have enjoyed many stays in historical, boutique style hotels and B&Bs, but this was one of my favorites. »

« we really enjoyed the step back in time that the historic house offered especially as it has been modernized to have all the amenities of a modern home. and then to have it within walking/short driving distance to many of Hannibal's historic locations was a real plus. we highly recommend to home to enjoy the quaintness and history of Hannibal. »

« My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and nice. By sheer luck we were able to get a bathroom to ourselves which was a bonus. Chris was a welcoming and responsive host. Breakfasts were on time and delicious. The house overall had a very pleasant vibe. And we were obsessed with the cats who were very well mannered themselves and didn’t smell at all. We like to take a break from using a car if possible on vacations so downtown and most attractions being within a few blocks...
