« Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances....

« We loved our stay at The Library! The apartment was clean and well-decorated. There were lots of great touches, such as mirror placement, treats for breakfast, well-stocked with things you might need but may have forgotten, and the shower was amazing. Communication was great, and the location can’t be beat! It was a great place to stay, and definitely more interesting than a hotel, and very reasonably priced. »

I usually stay at a motel for the days my daughter and I are on our MOther's day outing but staying in a house was so much more comfortable and private. « House was small and not especially clean. Behind curtains and stairs were dirty. I have stayed in old homes before. This one was small and not especially welcoming. The history was interesting though. I like cats and they did not bother us. The cats seemed to be more comfortable than any guest. Our room was surrounded by bathrooms. We did not have to share the Jack and Jill bathroom but the one in the hall was as if it was ours, it was so close. The automatic light in the hall came on...

« We pulled up, parked on the street in front of the house and walked up to the porch. Our kids were so excited to stay at this gorgeous house. So were we, actually. We entered the inviting living room and the kids sat down to play chess immediately. We wandered through the house, admiring all of the fabulous woodwork and other time period details. The home was so welcoming and like stepping back in time. We loved it! We showered in the claw-footed tub, did laundry in the washer and dryer and...
