« If you plan to visit Oriental, you must stay at Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast! The innkeepers are so friendly and accommodating. They greeted me as I arrived and took me on a tour of the house explaining the available amenities. The house has a wrap around porch, perfect for relaxing in the evening (I stayed in August and was surprised by the mild evening temperature). I had to leave early morning and typically do not eat breakfast so they had breakfast bars and fruit available for me to grab...

« Nous avons dormi une nuit d’étape sur la route vers le nord. L’hôtel est bien placé dans la marina à la sortie des autoroutes et à l’entrée de la ville historique. Parking facile et gratuit devant. Belle promenade à pieds au bord de l’eau. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Repas au bar de qualité. Très bon petit déjeuner. »

« The condo was infested with cockroaches, smelled badly of marijuana and was very dirty. When calling to get some sort of refund for having to leave early due to the disgusting conditions - it is impossible to speak to a manager. Have been waiting almost a month for a phone call back. Would not recommend this place. »

« We arrived and we're the only guests. Even Brodie wasn't there. They partner with a sub shop up the road and I felt we were really encouraged to go there for breakfast instead of the inn. The first room was up a lot of stairs. There was a lot of dirt on ceiling fan blades. Room was nice looking. The AC unit was not cooling well at all so we asked if we cod stay in lower level room. « One of our all-time best trips ever! New Bern is a gem and Amy and Linda have created a B&B that matches the town - quaint, friendly, full of things to do, excellent food. Meadows Inn B & B is lovely. From the beautiful decor to Amy and her VERY caring staff, we looked so forward to each day waking up in the spacious rooms with beautiful linens, fantastic walk-in shower that seems to never run out of hot water, and plenty of space to put away your clothes and stuff rather than rifling...
