« This beautiful home was build with love and we were made to feel like family. Every inch of the house has been put together with thought and is clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was prepared for us on our schedule and was delicious. I would go out of my way to stay here again! »

« Excellent stay! »

« This beautiful home is the perfect gathering place for families. Very well maintained, and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. 100% would recommend. »

« I did not enjoy knowing we had cameras on us the whole time outside. It felt like we were being watched. I also thought it was uncomfortable having someone at the mailbox right at 10:00, which I know was checkout and we were leaving. »

« The cottage was lovely and offered everything one would need for a stay at a "home away from home." The kitchen featured a full-size fridge, Keurig, air fryer, and microwave oven, and enough dishes and utensils for a party of four. Surrounded by farms and located in a semi-rural area, but not far from local wineries and sights, the cottage offered a peaceful respite. The host communicated with us promptly and thoroughly, and we look forward to staying at one of his properties again. »

« We had a great stay overall. The house was a perfect size for our group, and the check-in and check-out process was simple and hassle-free. The owner was very responsive and quick to address the few issues that came up during our stay, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals at the house and never found ourselves missing any cookware or utensils. The home was generally clean, but in my opinion, it could benefit...

« Classic old plantation house that’s got modern conveniences. »

« Our family of four loved our stay at the Moss Side Manor house. The house was very comfortable and we loved the historic furnishings. The farm setting was very interesting. We saw the farm manager feeding the cows and he kindly gave us an impromptu lesson on the farm and area properties. The house was also close to several restaurants and a short drive to Williamsburg. All in all a great visit. Highly recommended. »

« Loved this house! Had our extended family in from out of town for our daughter’s wedding and it was perfect. Well stocked kitchen and really nice bathrooms. First floor bedroom was a plus for my parents. The large bunkroom was great for kids or teens as well as the games in the garage. »

« Very attractive home-owners worked very hard to make us feel welcome! Everything that we could possibly need was supplied!Thank you for sharing your house with us! »

« The property is wonderful! Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood! And the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor perfect for me and my mother, with super comfy mattresses! Best naps ever! And the rest of the house, yard, amenities, instructions, and neighbors, the best, as we traveled back and forth from our annual Chickahominy powwow! Thanks again and we'll spread the good word too! »

« Totally loved our stay. We are using it as a benchmark for our future higher end short term rental. »

« We came out for a NASCAR race in Richmond. The location was perfect, less than 30 minutes from the track. The property is beautiful as is the house. It was a perfect size for our group of six. The master suite with that double shower was phenomenal!!! It was so convenient to have the Food Lion next door. There is a lot to do on the property. It was pretty hot outside when we were here so we didn’t do any of the outdoor activities but would have loved to try the frisbee golf! Our host provided...
