« Magnifique »

« Have stayed several times at the Jared Coffin House and never have been disappointed Friendly staff always available to make dinner reservations or get you a cab. A favorite hotel ! »

« The room was very tiny. Having a bar in the hotel was nice with great outside patio. Be prepared to get charged hefty tip. »

« A no frills bed & breakfast experience. The rooms were nice, but bathrooms had broken tiles by the shower. Breakfast was convenient to have for early mornings, but otherwise would skip. Overall a comfortable stay and a short 8-10 min walk to town, but felt a bit lacking. »

« My husband and I stayed in the standard king in the basement. It was plenty big enough, the bed was comfy, the water pressure was excellent, the shower tiles were beautiful, and it was tastefully decorated. The gentleman that checked us in was so helpful with recommendations for restaurants. He even called to make our reservation for us. I can’t remember his name but he said he was originally from NYC. The hotel is only a block from the ferry terminal, a half block to the whaling museum and 2...

« The property itself was nice. However, for $400/night I expected better service. Annamarie was very sweet and helpful, however, the other staff we were less impressed with to say the least. It seemed like every time we asked for something they acted like it was some huge inconvenience for them. Because of these small and brief interactions, we felt uncomfortable asking for other simple things such as our trash being emptied for example. In addition, the shower only had one curtain and it was too...

« We loved how inviting the Host was and the modern day comforts with high quality linens. Our room was thoughtfully appointed , quiet, comfortable and spotless! »
