« Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. « Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. « My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. « Good house for a family if you can climb stairs. The amount of stairs was a surprise. . Location on the water was fabulous for kayaking. We thought it would be easy to get our kayaks down to the water from the parking area - NOT. We ended up driving to the community beach area to put our kayaks in. Saw a gray whale!! We still had a great time. Ants on the counter. Pest control needs to visit. »

« It was awesome. Secluded yet not too far from town and my son who lives in Shelton. It was great to take a walk to the shore which was an adventure walk with blackberries and sweetpeas. The high tide and low tides were an adventure especially as it was full moon. The surprise on the last few days was the view of Mt. Rainer. « We had a magical time at this beautiful cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful lake, had it nearly to ourselves the whole stay! We paddle boarded and kayaked and dozed in the sunshine on the dock.The one big detractor was the air beds had holes in them, and the host said the pullout couch was uncomfortable, so it was a little tricky to sleep 3 friends comfortably. »
