Our family enjoyed all the amenities that the property offered; foosball showdowns at least twice daily, music with a great ambience of the screened in porch, fire pit, grilling, coffee on the deck near the river, fishing nearby, friendly neighbor ducks and dogs. « Home was perfect for our trip to Iowa football game -- approximately 40 mn to stadium. With convenience to grocery shopping and dining.We enjoyed the space for all of us -- 4 bedrooms and comfortable beds!Appreciated abundance of towels!A little more seating in TV space would've been nice, and a quick check of nooks and crannies for dust and dirt and clean up were the only minor issues.Overall, would recommend and would stay here again! »

« Looking for a large property in the Central City area, we were delighted with The Guest House - beautiful, quiet and serene. Rosemary is a wonderful host and provided everything one could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. Even my 3 young-adult grandsons thought the property was "way cool"! We had traveled there for my mother's funeral; and afterwards it was such a relief to kick back "at home". Thank you, Rosemary. You'll definitely hear from me the next time we're traveling to my old home...

« We stayed at this cute cabin for a family/friend concert trip. The cabin has such charm to it. It is in a beautiful, quiet location. There is a "bridge" that some of the group wasn't quite sure they wanted to go over due to the high water... but my husband zipped right over in our Yukon. You are down in a valley and right next to the river, so a little wet and soggy (bring bug spray) but we sat out and enjoyed our evening in the side yard.
