« I was traveling through in off season. I got what I assume a low season price. The stay was excellent. The place is as advertised. I liked the fire pit at the river edge. This is a nice, rustic place. I would pay 2X for the room. »

« While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. It is quite a unique and peaceful accommodation in Robbinsville, NC, 30 min from the city accessible through a beautiful winding road while being very close to scenic roads and scenery like the Dragon’s tail road. « This is truly a piece of Heaven on earth! It was the amazing place to spend Valentine’s weekend. The cabin is absolutely perfect. It was wonderfully appointed. We appreciated being able to unplug from all the noise of life for a couple days & just listen to the sounds of the roaring stream. We enjoyed God’s creation, relaxed and talked to each other with out distractions. This is my retirement aspirations! Alice & Doug thanks for sharing your home with us. »

The host has everything here that an AU family would need to relax, make dinner, and really enjoy the peace & quiet following a day of LOUD ENGINES !
