« The check in process was terrible. The gentleman was not friendly at all. I was paying for all 4 of our rooms and he said I could not check anyone in. He had to see my husband and all 3 of my kids. I understand he had to see their license but it was the why he did it. He said I couldn’t do anything he could only deal with my husband and he was very rude about it. Then once everyone was checked in, we were all on different floors. I had called the hotel and asked for us to be all on the same...

« The place has a nice cabin style feel and is close to all the trails, and the small town area. More importantly, it's close to Ester's a fantastic little Mexican restaurant. »

« Given the history and age of this hotel, it has its quirks. Rooms are not your standard, cookie-cutter layout. But it is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was very helpful. Note there isn't a restaurant in the building currently, but there are several options within one block. The hotel's proximity to Soo Locks is probably it's most desirable feature. »

« We just stayed 1 night but it was a good one. The suite is big, functional, we could cook. It was clean and quite. Staff was kind and helpful. A good place to stay and discover the Tahquamenon falls ! Go to eat at the Inn, we had a good lunch »

« Our kids enjoyed the clean pool. Family consists of 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed for 3 nights. Staff were very friendly and polite. The room and hallway were clean. »

« Nice pictures. They don't accurately represent the property. The on-site restaurant is out of business. There's a hidden path to the waterfront, but it's a mess. If you end up here, go across the street to the public park instead. Strangely the back of the property faces the river, but the back is windowless, and the rear area is posted no trespassing. Room smelled of cigarettes. Sink didn't drain. Light and fan in bathroom not working, use the heat lamp to see (in July). The entire property...

« The property was clean. We had 3 queen beds. Perfect for us and the grandkids. Plus the 4th of July parade was right in front of the hotel. We just walked out our door when it started. Definitely going to stay here again. »

« Had to call/stop at front desk multiple times before more towels and toilet paper were brought over to us. Seemed very unorganized and unprioritized. We had bags of trash sit outside the door of our room for more than 24 hours and they were never picked up. Alright for the price, but definitely need to get more housekeepers to be able to take care of the Superior Place side of the parking lot. Decent breakfast. »
