« We were not sure at first. The hotel was old but completely remodeled on the inside. There were people who lived there long term outside when we arrived. It was quiet and comfortable »

« Petit déjeuner pas top. »

« Une odeur de cigarette nauséabonde dans l’an chambre, la moquette était vraiment sale et tachée! Je ne comprends pas le fait qu’en cet hôtel soit si bien noté alors que c’était la pire chambre ou j’ai eu l’occasion De dormir dans ma vie... »

« They need to remove all of the trash from the outside. And get the cigarette smell from the rooms »

« Felt better than other stays I've had lately. Clean room and decent shower made it worth it. »

« Such a comfy little place with everything in reach! Coffee on demand was clutch when we woke up early each morning. »

« The charm of this historic cottage cannot be denied, and the commitment to preservation is commendable. Melissa was responsive as a host. There was a lot of space around the cottage that made it feel private, and a small space fenced in for our dogs. A few things that would have made our stay even better: cleaner cooking pots; real coffee mugs; better instructions for things like the outside light, and space heaters. There was also a lot of noise throughout the night from large trucks and...

« Great place to stay with pets (including horses!). Beer, wine, coffee, snacks, and continental breakfast were a bonus and a big help since restaurants are about 10 miles away. Location was perfect for going to Darling Raceway. »

« The south at it’s very best. Beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. I only wish that we’d had longer to stay. David was very friendly and accommodating. I can’t recommend this beautiful home strongly enough. Stay here……you’ll love it. »

« Quick weekend getaway turned out fine, solid facilities made settling down simple here despite being busy nearby over summer season! »

« Little weekend getaway one hour from home for MX training. Beautiful pond with lots of fish and sassy beavers. Son and husband fished as much as time would allow. Pet-friendly is a plus for us. We plan on returning in the future. »

« We were in town for the 8u Diamond Youth Baseball State Tournament. John (and his parents) were/are AMAZING hosts. The boys had a check-in goodie basket and the most supportive, wonderful note of encouragement for the tournament. Not only is the property a super special place, pristinely clean, and a historical gem, but the communication, ease of the entire check-in/check-out process, and location are beyond description. John, Mary and Douglas are great, great folks and I hope to stay again...
