« Je laisse 5 étoiles car le prix est très bas, ce qui rend la vétusté tout à fait en adéquation avec le service vendu. C’est propre. Le petit déjeuner est suffisant. J’étais déjà venu il y a 3 ans. J’ai réitéré pour le très bon rapport qualité/prix, et pour la proximité dans le bâtiment d’un restaurant très réputé et pas trop cher non plus. « Never been to Tipton IA before. The next time we go through, we will be staying at this location. It was quiet. Well kept. Staff was very friendly. Clean. Amenities were just what was needed. Don't need over the top for a comfortable stay. We only stayed for one night, but we will be stopping again. It was homey and comforting. Something somewhat lacking these days. »

« The property was awesome. We had 10 guys on our annual fishing trip and the cabin had enough space for all of us !! It’s located very close to lake McBride and coralville reservoir. I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay, and Lisa the host was awesome too !!!!!! If you needed anything, she called right away to help, thank you Lisa and thank your cleaning lady also , place was clean and overall beautiful!!!!!!! »

« We stayed at this lovely property the weekend of my son’s graduation from U Iowa. Several generations slept comfortably amongst the multiple bedrooms. An issue with the AC was quickly fixed. And the generous kitchen and refrigerator storage space allowed us to bring in catering for the entire weekend. It was wonderful. »

« We love this cute quiet house!! Super spacious with all the amenities. The hosts are very personable. Only complaint is we didnt get to see Tinker their dog this time. Close enough to Kinnick stadium without all the noise. Peaceful and beautiful out doors. All the appliances you need to cook a meal. The snacks and treats are always appreciated. This is our third stay and we will be back next year!! GO HAWKS!! »

« This is the only hotel in mount vernon so you don't have another option if you want to be near cornell college campus. A couple of things to point out are....they do not have any gf breakfast options other then scrambeled eggs and those are not always good,so plan ahead. The rooms are not always really clean,as mine didnt look like it had been vacuumed during my very recent stay. The on-site washer and dryer are old and do not run efficiently. The staff are always pleasant however. »
