The hotel is cheaply built and every noise from neighboring rooms echoes throughout. The rooms to the doors are not plumb, so they were being slammed. #3 concern was the filth and dinginess. « I'm trying to be fair. 3 stars because it is a beautiful location would be a 5 if we didn't experience issues.Upon arrival: Most of the dishes were unclean (we cleaned everything we wanted to use when we arrived). No dish clothes to wash the dishes so we had to use a towel. Dozens of flies (we killed several, others just joined us as un-invited guests). Water went out (after contacting owner we found out their system flushes every 3 days and water is out about an hour but should have...

« The house was great. It was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for our stay in Troy. The house is in a great location walking distance to downtown Troy and convenient to everywhere else we needed to be in Troy. »

« This was an excellent place to stay!!!! I was in town for a short weekend to see my dad, who was staying with my sister in Troy. Such a warm and welcoming home, small but quaint And had a big feel! We will definitely stay here again. Would highly recommend. 10/10 »
