« Very quaint historic home with a lot of interesting antique decorations. I felt like I was stepping back in time. The beds are comfortable. We had three people so everyone got a bed. The kitchen is well stocked. Just know that this place only has one bathroom so everyone has to share a small bathroom, which was not a problem for our group but could be for others. I really like this place and would stay here again. »

« We got what we came for: A lovely and somewhat remote retreat looking(literally) over the Current River with a deck and a fire pit with comfortable beds, hot water, and enough kitchen gear to prepare meals. You can even do some light fishing from the old boat ramp but more to pass the time than get serious. This would be an amazing place for a family to set up as a Basecamp for a floating adventure.We were just two old dudes catiching up and hitting rhe river and it was more than we needed but...

« We loved this cottage. The appliances were great. Especially the icemaker in the big refrigerator. Also loved the view from the king size bed in the early mornings. We spent a lot of time on the deck just watching the river flow by. »
