« This was a pleasant surprise! Nicest, cleanest, friendliest place we’ve been in a very long time! Staff went over and above expectations to make sure we had a first floor room and to ensure that Expedia straightened out a glitch that had us booked for two rooms instead of one. « I needed a budget motel for a quick pitstop on a multi-day road trip. Although the property was older and sorely needs remodeling/updating, it was obviously well cared-for to the best of the staff's ability. The property, lobby, grounds, and rooms were exceptionally CLEAN and the all of the staff we encountered were exceptionally NICE. « When you first walk into the hotel it smells and tastes lime stale cigarette smoke. My non smoking room smelt the same in the room as it did out in hallway and when you walk into the lobby. Secondly the bedspread had either cigarette burns or tears on the top and not sure if they were clean.could not tell everything smelt like stale cigarettes.
