« The remodel was very chic and the property is quiet and cute! However, it is very basic. I wouldn’t give it the nine-star rating that was guest-advertised. It didn’t appear to be very well cleaned — sheets and chair were very dirty (or at-least stained). When I reached out about the sheets (which looked like recent bodily fluids and not a stain), I was assured they most definitely had been changed and that the chair was just one thing that needed to be replaced since the change in ownership. « Some distance from the main road and no neighboor next to my room so it was quiet and I slept well. The room need to be renovated. Everything is dark and smell bad. Althoug smoking is forbidden since many years, the old smoke smell has not been removed. Armchair, A/C, bedspread and curtains are very old and shall be changed. Lighting is insufficient. »

« The place was beautiful the owners were so nice and amazing. We spent the weekend between Amana Colonies and Iowa City. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and visit. I will defently stay there again if I am back in Iowa. »

« Everything was good but make sure you check your emails and messages when you have cell service if you are traveling. Wellman is a dead spot for Verizon. We had to drive back to Kalona to good enough service to access our messages. »

« It was absolutely gorgeous. The kids enjoyed the playground near by and restaurants. If we were ever in the area again, we would stay here. Would definitely recommend! »

« Very nice house. Clean and comfortable. Weather was to cold to walk outside but if it was nice, it would have been fun to walk around see all the animals. »

« Got there n building was closed for renovation (as were the other 2 motels at that exit). Called phone # on our reservation n understood little of his heavily accented English. Called Expedia, she called Marifah Inn, then called me back to say Marifah Inn would call us with substitute motel reservation at Cozy House Inn. He never called so we drove to Cozy House n they had no call from him, either, but very graciously gave us a nice room over 1 hour later! We hope they get reimbursed for their...
